Product Overview

What Is an FRP Flat Sheet?

An FRP flat sheet is a non-profiled panel made from resin reinforced with fiberglass. Unlike corrugated roofing sheet, it has a flat format suited to linings, cladding, partitions, equipment panels and further fabrication.

The correct sheet should be defined by its complete laminate: resin system, reinforcement, nominal thickness or weight, surface layer, colour, opacity, dimensions and exposure conditions.

  • Flat panel construction
  • Opaque or translucent
  • Smooth or textured surface
  • Corrosion-focused grades
  • Cut-to-size review

Technical note: “Chemical resistant” is not a universal property. Suitability depends on the exact chemical, concentration, temperature, exposure duration, mechanical load, cleaning method and selected laminate construction.

Laminate Selection

Define Every Layer of the Panel

Surface Layer

Specify the exposed face, resin-rich layer, film, gel coat, texture or appearance requirement.

Structural Laminate

Confirm resin, fiberglass reinforcement, thickness or weight and required performance.

Back Surface

Define whether the reverse face is smooth, textured, prepared for bonding or otherwise finished.

Colour & Light

State opaque, translucent, tint, transmission target and physical sample requirement.

Exposure Side

Identify indoor/outdoor orientation, chemicals, humidity, UV and cleaning conditions.

Acceptance Criteria

Agree dimensions, thickness tolerance, visual limits, colour and required test documents.

Applications

Where FRP Flat Panels Are Used

FRP flat sheets used as industrial wall lining

Wall & Ceiling Linings

Panels for selected industrial, agricultural and hygienic interior environments.

FRP flat panels prepared for fabrication and export

Fabricated Components

Cut panels, covers, baffles and equipment parts made from approved drawings.

Translucent FRP flat panel for partitions and daylighting

Partitions & Screens

Opaque or translucent dividing panels selected around appearance and exposure.

Chemical-Area Linings

Flat sheets reviewed for identified splash, fumes, humidity and cleaning conditions.

Wastewater Facilities

Panels for enclosures, covers and lining applications after full service review.

Vehicle & Equipment Panels

Flat FRP skins and components where weight, corrosion and fabrication matter.

Frequently Asked Questions

FRP Flat Sheet FAQ

What is the difference between FRP flat sheet and corrugated sheet?
Flat sheet is non-profiled and commonly used for linings, partitions and fabricated parts. Corrugated sheet has a repeated profile for roofing, cladding and daylighting systems.
Can FRP flat sheets be cut to size?
Cut sizes and drawing-based shapes can be reviewed. Provide dimensions, tolerances, quantities, holes, notches, edge details and packaging requirements.
Which resin is suitable for chemical exposure?
Selection depends on the exact chemical, concentration, temperature, contact duration, mechanical loads and cleaning method. Send the full service environment for review.
Can the sheets be translucent or coloured?
Translucent, tinted and opaque colours may be available depending on the grade, laminate, quantity and required surface. Approve a physical sample before bulk production.
Can FRP flat sheet be used outdoors?
Outdoor use requires a suitable resin and weathering surface. Confirm UV exposure, climate, colour retention expectations, orientation and maintenance conditions.
Are fire-retardant FRP sheets available?
Grade-specific fire performance may be discussed. State the exact standard and rating, then verify that the supplied laminate and supporting report match the requirement.
What information is required for a quotation?
Provide application, exposure, chemicals, temperature, thickness or weight basis, dimensions, colour, surface, drawing, quantity, documents, packing and destination.
