Features of solid polycarbonate

  1. Beautiful appearance: High light transmittance adds an aesthetic element to properties, public buildings and other places that require sunlight rather than UV light.
  2. Soundproofing: Polycarbonate sheets are the sound insulation material of choice for highways around the world. Sound insulation is determined by stiffness, weight and physical structure. In particular, the hollow polycarbonate sheet has the most remarkable sound insulation effect, which can minimize the sound intensity of about 19 decibels.
  3. Anti-UV: The co-extruded UV layer can absorb 98% of UV rays, reducing UV damage to human body, plants, organics and polymers. The UV protection layer is 50 μm thick, which completely blocks UV rays and creates a safe environment.
  4. Energy saving: Polycarbonate solid clear optimizes thermal insulation. In hot summer or cold winter, the ambient temperature under polycarbonate sheets does not change drastically and remains relatively stable.
